Ellerslie gardens lifecare

Yesterday on Wednesday the 23rd of June, a group of kids from Pt England School when to the Ellerslie Gardens Lifecare which is a resting home for elderly people . The first thing that we did when we got there was we had to sanatie and get our temprecher checked to are to make sure weren't bring any germs to the rest home.We lined up to perform we started by singing a waiata called E ihoa.The songs that we sang was ka waiata ,He honore ,and many more.Then we got to share and introduce our self to the elderly people.Then we had to sing one more song before we had to go I think we were pretty good at singing because everybody sounded loud.But I would rate it a 10 out 10.

Topic 3 - Trying out Lab equipment- Tech

      

- Task 1-  Trying out Lab equipment            Equipment: Weighing machine    Petri dish  Table sugar  Two 200ml beakers  Water in pouring container  A dropper  Spatula  Stopwatch    Thermometer  Sugar   Method  (what to do): Fill the beakers up to 100ml (cold water ) Measure the temperature of the water  (cold water) Take weighing machine and measure 10 grams of sugar   Set timer to zero and pour the sugar  in (cold sugar) Then start the timer and quickly mix   Once all the sugar as dissolved then stop timer   And check the timer and we the results                                                                                  Results :  Cold water - Time dissolved  1:32  - temp 22 degrees         Hot water - time dissolved 25 sec - temp 80 degrees

FiaFia Night!

Yesterday night on Thursday it was FiaFia it was amazing! Teachers was crying and parents were proud, today we will be talking about FiaFia .FiaFia is something that happens once every two years, everyone at Pt England school gets to perform an item of their choice, they also get to perform that item on a big stage. I think the best group in my opinion was the cook islands item, because they were graceful and smooth. I think the best part at FiaFia was the food the food they selled there was amazing the food that i loved was the hangi and the cupcakes.the item that i want to do next time is hip hop  ALSO I WANT TO SAY A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL TEACHERS AND PARENTS THAT TOOK THEIR TIME TO COME AND WATCH AS KIDS THE THIS PERFORM ON STAGE!
